The assault resulted in the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

These detentions follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
